Luke 18:1 Amplified Bible
“Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart,
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV

pray continually,
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
以弗所書 6:18 靠著聖靈,隨時多方禱告祈求,並要在此警醒不倦,為眾聖徒祈求;
Ephesians 6:18 NIV
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Colossians 4:2 King James Version
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”
Colossians 4:2 Amplified Bible

(Leonard Ravenhill)
“If weak in prayer, we are weak everywhere.” -Leonard Ravenhill
“I look at a stonecutter hammering away at a rock 100 times without so much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the 101st blow it splits in two. It was not the one blow that did it, but all that had gone before. So it is with persevering prayer.” – George Muller
“It is not enough to begin to pray, nor to pray aright; nor is it enough to continue for a time to pray; but we must patiently, believingly, continue in prayer until we obtain an answer.” – George Müller
“Prayer is weakness leaning on omnipotence.” -W. S. Bowd
-W. S. Bowd
(Rev. Charles Finney)
“You must persevere. You are not to pray for a thing once, then cease, and call that the prayer of faith. Look at Daniel. He prayed 21 days and did not stop until he obtained the blessing. He held on 3 weeks, then the answer came. Jesus taught that God will grant answers to prayer when prayer is persistent.” –Charles Finney
-Johnson and Pearl
“In November 1844, I began to pray for the conversion of five individuals. I prayed every day without a single intermission, whether sick or in health, on the land, on the sea, and whatever the pressure of my engagements might be. 18 months elapsed before the 1st of the five was converted. I thanked God and prayed on for the others. Five (5) years elapsed, and then the second was converted. I thanked God for the 2nd, and prayed on for the other three. Day by day, I continued to pray for them, and 6 years passed before the 3rd was converted. I thanked God for the three, and went on praying for the other two. These two remained unconverted. Thirty-six (36) years later he wrote that the other two, sons of one of Mueller’s friends, were still not converted. He wrote, “But I hope in God, I pray on, and look for the answer. They are not converted yet, but they will be.” In 1897, fifty-two (52) years after he began to pray daily, without interruption, for these two men, they were finally converted—but after he died! Mueller understood what Luke meant when he introduced a parable Jesus told about prayer, saying, “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up” (Luke 18:1). -about George Mueller
(E.M. Bounds)
“Prayers are deathless. They outlive the lives of those who uttered them.” -E.M. Bounds
“Prayers outlive the lives of those who uttered them; outlive a generation, outlive an age, outlive a world. ” -E.M. Bounds
“As long as the motive of your prayer is in accordance to God’ will, and that it glorifies God, then God will surely answer such prayer according to His methods and timing. Prayers that are in accordance to God’s will transcends time and space, because the God that hears prayer is a God that transcends time and space. Even if a praying person dies, God will still hear and execute his prayers, because God is a faithful God that does what He says, and God magnifies His word above His name.” -Johnson and Pearl
(KJV)

Our Daily Bread, July 19, 1989.
“18-year-old Hudson Taylor wandered into his father’s library and read a gospel tract. He couldn’t shake off its message. Finally, falling to his knees, he accepted Christ as his Savior. Later, his mother, who had been away, returned home. When Hudson told her the good news, she said, “I already know. Ten days ago, the very date on which you tell me you read that tract, I spent the entire afternoon in prayer for you until the Lord assured me that my wayward son had been brought into the fold.” -Our Daily Bread, July 19, 1989.

“Without prayer we cannot life the Christian life. Prayer means power. More prayer means more power.”

(Leonard Ravenhill)
“Quit playing, starting praying. Quit feasting, start fasting. Talk less with men, talk more with God. Listen less to men, listen to the words of God. Skip travel, start travail.” -Leonard Ravenhill
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
