The Bible clearly said that if a person adds or subtracts something from the word of God, God will take away his part out of the book of Life, and out of the Holy City. (Rev 22:18-19, Rev 21:27)

Deuteronomy 4:2 NIV “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.”

Deuteronomy 12:32 NIV “See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.”

Deuteronomy 4:2 and 12:32 says, nobody can add or subtract something(like “repentance or the carrying the cross”) from the word of God. Regarding all the commands of the Lord, do not add to it or subtract from it, but keep all of the commands of the Lord.

If a person adds something to the word or prophecies of God, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in the Book of Revelation. If a person subtracts something form the word of God(topics like “repentance, carrying the cross, the true gospel and holiness”), God will take away his part out of the book of Life, and out of the Holy City. (Rev 22:18-19, Rev 21:27)

As to the Christians and pastors that purposely “delete the necessity of repentance” from the gospel of Jesus Christ, they are in fact preaching a false gospel, and God will surely judge and punish them according to Galatians 1:8-10 and Rev 22;19.

I repeat, if a person adds something to the word or prophecies of God, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in the Book of Revelation. If a person subtracts something form the word of God(topics like “repentance, carrying the cross, the true gospel and holiness”), God will take away his part out of the book of Life, and out of the Holy City. As we said before, so I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from or contrary to that which you received [from us], let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!

Now, can Christians/preachers/pastors/ministers pervert or change the gospel? Or preach another gospel?

Of course NOT!

The Bible says, if a person adds or subtracts something from the word of God, and that includes changing or perverting the gospel by deleting “repentance and carrying the cross” from the Bible, he/she will be accursed and condemned to hell! (Deut 4:2, Deut 12:32, Rev 22:18-19, Rev 21:27)

If anyone changes the gospel into a gospel contrary to the true gospel of Jesus Christ as preached by the twelve apostles and Paul, then that person will be accursed and condemned to hell!

So, if a Christian or preacher changes the gospel into a gospel contrary to the true gospel of Jesus Christ, he/she will be accursed and condemned to hell!

Galatians 1:9 Good News Translation
“We have said it before, and now I say it again: if anyone preaches to you a gospel that is different from the one you accepted, may he be condemned to hell!

Jesus also said,

“but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble and sin [by leading him away from My teaching], it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone [as large as one turned by a donkey] hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”

Don’t forget, the Bible says, if a Christians sin and doesn’t repent, he will loose his salvation!
