What is the pure gospel?
The Pure Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is: “For all have sinned against God, and transgressed many, many times God moral law, which is mainly the Ten Commandments. (1 John 3:4)
1 John 3:4 (KJV) “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
Think about it, how many times have you told a lie in your life? Lying is transgressing the 9th commandment.
Also, you must have in your lifetime,
-stolen things(transgressing the 8th commandment),
-coveted money(transgressing the 10th commandment),
-lusted after women or men in your heart(transgressing the 7th commandment),
-committed pre-marital sex or had an affair outside marriage(transgressing the 7th commandment),
-had an abortion(transgressing the 6th commandment),
-loved the world,
-taken God’s name in vain (like saying Oh my God or Jesus Christ, that’s called blasphemy! transgressing the 3th commandment),
-hated someone in your heart(transgressing the 6th commandment),
-dishonored your parents(transgressing the 5th commandment),
-cussed,
-worshipped all kinds of idols or false gods(transgressing the 2nd commandment).
These acts of sin are all selfish, evil, rebellious. You have sinned directly against God and other people!
Therefore, before God, you are NOT a good person, you are still a sinner!
Every person on earth have sinned against the Lord God that created the universe, and God’s greatness, status, and worth are far above that of a president, king, or emperor. In fact, God’s worth is more than the whole universe! His worth is infinite and eternal (Ps 49:8, Isa 57:15)!
The God of the Bible is the highest God, and the only God in the universe. (Isa 57:15, Isa 37:16) God is eternal, holy, and He hates sin and sinners! (1 Pet 1:16, Ps 5:5, Ps 11:5)
You need to understand that God’s greatness, status, and worth are infinite and eternal! Since God’s greatness and worth are infinite and eternal(Ps 145:3, Ps 49:8, Isa 57:15), every sinner must pay an eternal price for sinning against God. Therefore, every sinner deserves an eternal punishment in hell forever. The Bible says, the wages of sin is death, and God appointed unto men once to die, and after death comes judgment. (Rom 3:23, Heb 9:27)
Since every sinner has transgressed the Ten Commandments and sinned against God, every sinner is like a criminal on death row. Every sinner deserves eternal punishment in hell. Thus, they must obtain the King’s pardon and forgiveness in order to avoid death in hell. Such pardon would be a grace from God, as no sinner on earth deserves it. A sinner must fully repent, depart from his/her sins, believe in the true gospel of Jesus, and take up his cross daily and follow Jesus in order to be truly saved.
Then, a sinner can be truly saved and reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus. Only by the blood of Jesus can a sinner be justified and saved from God’s wrath and hell, and obtain eternal life. (Rom 3:23, 1 John 3:4, Exod 20, Ps 7:11, Rom 6:23, Luke 13:3, Heb 9:27, Mark 1:15, Luke 9:23-24, 2 Cor 5:20, Rom 5:9, John 3:16)
You must repent BEFORE you can be truly saved
The Bible says, one must repent before he can be truly saved. In other words, you must repent before you can be justified by faith! One must first fully repent before he can be baptized in water and become a true Christian. One must first fully repent and take up his cross daily to follow Jesus BEFORE he can be truly saved and become a born-again Christian!

Nowadays many churches will pull scriptures out of context and single out scriptures that looks as if it’s not necessary to repent before getting saved, such as John 3:16, Rom 10:9, Mark 16:16, John 1:12, Acts 2:21. Now, if you twist the Bible, you can only find at most 5 or 6 scriptures that “looks as if it’s not necessary to repent before getting saved”. However, there are at least 35 New Testament scriptures that prove that: One must repent of his sins BEFORE he/she can become a truly saved Christian!
Anyways, 35 is still a bigger number than 5! That is just simple math.
Sadly, many of today’s gospel-diluting churches will only tell you five scriptures that “looks as if it’s not necessary to repent before getting saved”. But they will not tell about the 35 New Testament scriptures that prove that: One must first repent of his sins, then he could be justified by faith.
Since there are at least 35 New Testament scriptures that prove that: One must first repent of his sins, then he could be justified by faith. Therefore, you definitely a false Christian (or fake Christian) if you:
- never knew that you were a hell-deserving sinner before you got baptized
- never knew what sins you have committed before you got baptized
- never knew what is true repentance before you got baptized.
Today, even if there were 350 gospel-diluting pastors that leave out repentance and pronounce you as “saved”, fact is, you were never saved in the first place! You are not the Lord’s sheep; you are still a wolf! You are still a false Christian bound by sin. In fact, as of now, you are not a righteous person, and you are still a sinner!
A man of God called Leonard Ravenhill said, “If I was to ask you tonight if you were saved? Do you say ‘Yes, I am saved’. When? ‘Oh so and so preached, I got baptized and…’ Are you saved? What are you saved from, hell? Are you saved from bitterness? Are you saved from lust? Are you saved from cheating? Are you saved from lying? Are you saved from bad manners? Are you saved from rebellion against your parents? Come on, what are you saved from?”
Jesus demands that you love Him more than you love your own life!
Now, let me ask you this, do you love Jesus more than you love your own life? Probably not! But Jesus demand this, He demands that you love Him more than you love your own life. If not, then you cannot become a Christian! (Luke 14:25-27)
Sadly, most churchgoers today do not love Jesus more than they love their own lives. If this is your case, then this means you are a fake Christian. As of now, the most important thing that you need to do is to: understand the pure gospel, truly fear God, love God and hate sin, and stop being deceived by false gospels or fake churches that leave out the necessity of repentance before salvation. (Mark 1:15, Matt 4:17, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38, Gal 1:4-10)

Does Jesus deserve us loving Him more than we love our own lives?
Of course!
Because all life came from God and Jesus!
Because all things and all life came into existence through Jesus, in Jesus was life and the power to give life. (John 1:3-4)
What does “all things" mean? It means all things! Every matter, space, time, energy, every star, every galaxy, every life, and every human being on earth!
Our observable universe is estimated to contain 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies.

Just the sheer number of stars in the galaxies of universe speaks volumes of the infinite power, majesty, and greatness of the Creator God and His son Jesus.
And since God and Jesus are the only life-giver in the universe, it’s just common sense and logic to love Jesus more than we love our own lives, because He is the Giver of all life! If God didn’t create us humans, we would not have the privilege to live, breathe, eat, and drink water for just one day!
John 1:3-4 Amplified Bible
3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being.
4 In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men.
Think of how small, tiny, puny, and insignificant we are compared to the vastness of the universe, and yet so many people are ungrateful to God for the air, food, and water that they take in everyday without thanking and revering God!
Now, you need to understand that the pure gospel is vastly different from today’s sin-diluting false gospels that leaves out repentance, carry the cross, self-denial (Luke 9:23), and the reality of hell.
In fact, preaching repentance, the cross, and the truth about hell are the best and only honesty way of loving souls. So, even though 90% of the churches in the world are not honest enough and don’t love you enough to preach the pure gospel to you, but we are here to be honest to you and God knows that we genuinely love souls!
It’s not exactly popular to preach the pure gospel of Jesus Christ nowadays, and people don’t line up to give offerings to us like they do to false teachers like Joel Osteen and Benny Hinn. Since very, very, few churches and seminaries in the world are preaching the pure gospel, we had to learn it directly from the Holy Spirit, much prayer, and from holy men of God like John Wesley, Charles Finney, John Sung, Leonard Ravenhill, Paris Reidhead, etc.
Learning it meant we had to give up years of steady income, and preaching it online meant we had to pay a price that we never thought we could pay. It takes all the love, courage, and resources we have. But none paid a heavier price than our Lord Jesus Himself. Oh I think we tiny humans might never fully understand the great price that Jesus paid to give us the priceless pure gospel. I want to take a moment to exalt and glorify the Lord Jesus, our Lord, Master, Savior, and King.
Just to let you know, after hearing this message, even if you are hard-hearted, stubborn, arrogant, foolish, rebellious toward God, and even if you despise the pure, undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ, somebody else will esteem the pure gospel and treasure it. You are not in the center of God’s universe! You are tiny, puny, and insignificant, like all sinners are in the eyes of God.
Someone else will repent and serve God if you don’t.
Just to let you know, if you remain unrepentant, if you don’t fully repent, if you don’t fully surrender your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, then your life is shallow, selfish, sinful, meaningless, temporary, and soon to be remembered no more. If you continue to sin against and repent not, you definitely deserve eternal punishment and death in hell. Like we said earlier, by the sheer number of stars in our vast universe we can get a glimpse of God’s power, majesty, and greatness.
For sinning against such a great God of infinite, power, and worth, and not repenting; honestly, you surely deserve to burn in hell forever!!!
Now, we are not afraid of offending people, but we are afraid of offending the God of the bible. He is one and only true God, of infinite worth, power, majesty, and greatness. So today, we preach the pure gospel of Jesus Christ to you. We would rather help one person get truly saved by preaching the pure gospel than to produce millions of fake Christians! We will always be honest and preach the pure and true gospel to you, because that’s what Jesus and the 11 apostles did!
When Jesus preached during His earthly ministry, He emphasized repentance, the cross, and the truths about hell. Jesus emphasized repentance, the cross, and the truths about hell more than Peter, Paul, John, or another apostle.
Contrary, many of today’s pastors only care about themselves, money, and men’s glory; they don’t really love souls. They are after numbers, offerings, building their own kingdoms and satisfying their own ambitions. Many churches have departed from the pure gospel, and they no longer use God’s moral law to help sinners realize that they have sinned greatly against God.(Rom 7:7, 1 John 3:4, Gal 3:24) Many churches no longer preach the necessity of repentance before salvation.

Even though some pastors talk about repentance, but they only briefly mention repentance without explaining what true repentance is. Some pastors completely leave out repentance and say, “just believe and you can be saved, hurry up and get baptized, we’ll deal with the sin problem later.”
However, the Bible never mentioned such lie! The Bible never said, “just believe only, then you can get saved.”
Just believing in God alone cannot cause a sinner to become a Christian!
The Bible says, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. (James 2:19 King James Version)
Take a closer look at this verse. Devils, or demons, believe in God, and they tremble, but that doesn’t make them Christians! Just believing in God alone cannot cause a sinners to become a Christian.
The Bible says, one must REPENT and believe in the (pure) gospel of Jesus Christ before he can be truly saved.

Think about it, if a sinner doesn’t need to repent, and if a sinner can become a Christian and go to heaven just by “believing”; then, doesn’t that mean all thieves, liars, fornicators, idol worshippers, rapists, murderers can pray a 10 second “false conversion prayer”, get baptized, and go to heaven?
However, the God of the Bible is a holy and righteous God. God will never allow UNREPENTANT thieves, liars, fornicators, idol worshippers like Buddhists and Hindus, rapists, and murderers to go to heaven!
The Lord God will by no means clear the guilty！
The Bible says, “The Lord God…will by no means clear the guilty…” (Exod 34:6-7 KJV)
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be NOT deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV)
Matthew 7:21 (KJV) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
1 John 2:17 (KJV) “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
Also, Jesus clearly said: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3 KJV)
Unrepentance = self-induced perishing in hell!
Therefore, unrepentance = self-induced perishing in hell! (Luke 13:3)
Unrepentance equals to eternal perishing in hell!
Jesus also said, “You cannot be my disciple, unless you love me more than you love your father and mother, your wife and children, and your brothers and sisters. You cannot come with Me unless you love Me more than you love your own life. You cannot be My disciple unless you carry your own cross and come with Me.” (Luke 14:26-27 Contemporary English Version)
In order words, if anyone loves his own life, his parents, his wife, his children, his money, his career, or his job more than he loves Jesus, then that person cannot be a true disciple of Jesus Christ! I didn’t say that! The Lord Jesus said that!
Some of you have never heard Luke 14:26-27 preached. Some of you never heard the pure gospel of Jesus Christ preached in your life! But this is indeed the pure, undiluted, and true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, unless you carry your own cross and follow Him, you cannot be His disciple.
Let us pray for you now.
“Dear heavenly Father,
It is our heart’s prayer that those who read this preaching be willing to completely and truly repentant of all of their sins. Holy Spirit, lead them to listen and hear the pure gospel over and over again. I pray that they stop finding ridiculous excuses to continue in sin. Sin is not honorable. It is selfish, evil, wicked, degrading, embarrassing, rebellious, filthy, dirty, and morally wicked.
Don’t let them waste their lives on sin, vanity, and self-worship anymore! Let Your words be like a hammer that breaks their stony hearts, speak to their conscience and crush their pride and self-worth, and let Your fire burn off their excuses for sinning and degrading themselves like pigs wallowing in their filth.
Let Your Spirit convict them of the exceeding selfishness, sinfulness, detestableness, and enormity of their sins and crimes against God. Open their eyes to God’s righteous, holiness, majesty, greatness, judgment, and severity. Help them to see that their sins deserve eternal punishment in hell. May they truly and fully repent, and become truly born again and live for the Lord Jesus the rest of their lives. May them begin to love Jesus with all their hearts and minds, and may their lives begin to glorify Jesus to their maximum ability. I pray that they desire to know God more than food and water. That they seek not their own selfish interests, and seek first to enter God’s Kingdom and righteousness.
I ask that the Holy Spirit’s presence and fire come to touch them right now where they are at, for the Spirit of God is more real than the chairs that they are sitting in. Holy Spirit, be outpoured on those that just heard the pure and true gospel of Jesus Christ. For the gospel IS the power of God unto repentance and salvation. Lord, let Your goodness, kindness, and holiness lead them to true repentance.
Spirit of God, come and reprove, reprimand, and convict them of sin and self righteousness, and put them in fear of Your future judgement of all sinners who repent not. Save these sinners from sin and hell today, Lord. Have mercy on their sorrow and sinful state! May Jesus get all the glory He deserves in their lives. May they live for Jesus and be on fire for God. May You use them as vessels of revival before the Rapture, Lord!
May the Lamb that was slain receive the rewards of His sufferings in their lives!
