What is the pure gospel of Jesus Christ?

Main Scriptures:
- Matthew 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
- John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of *(or lack) the glory of God.”
*The term “come short” comes from the Greek word “hystereō", Strong’s G5302, it means “lack, come short, to be in want of, lack”. In order words, For all have sinned and “lack” the glory of God. In the New Testament, when God’s glory comes down, when the Holy Spirit comes down, we call that revival!

“As of now, what every person in the world needs the most is: the Pure Gospel and revival. Why? Because the former is the cure, and the latter is the power to spread the cure!
Because even though some are ignorant or foolish, every person in the world needs eternal life and the glory of God. The Bible says, one must repent and believe in the pure gospel in order to have eternal life. (Mark 1:15, Luke 24:47, Acts 11:18) A false gospel that leaves out repentance and the cross will not bring eternal life to a sinner. Such a false gospel will only produce a bunch of false Christians that want heaven but don’t want God Himself. Furthermore, the Bible says “For all have sinned, and come short of (or lack) the glory of God.” (Rom 3:23) Since revival is God’s glory descending upon us in the New Testament, we can say that all have sinned and lack the revival that brings God’s glory.” －Johnson and Pearl
