約9:31 我們知道神不聽罪人，惟有敬奉(敬拜)神、遵行他旨意的，神才聽他。
詩篇 66:18-20 我(大衛，一個義人)若心裡注重罪孽，主必不聽。但神實在聽見了；他側耳聽了我禱告的聲音。神是應當稱頌的！他並沒有推卻我的禱告，也沒有叫他的慈愛離開我。
喬治．慕勒簡介：
英國的喬治．慕勒（George Muller；1805～1898年），他的一生信靠神的恩典*，平生中向天父領受了150萬英磅，以當時的物價來說，這是極龐大的數字，等於約今天的1.8億美金。
喬治．慕勒不僅用這些錢蓋了一間孤兒院，照顧一萬個孤兒及孩子；也建立聖經學校，教導超過12萬個學生。另外，慕勒建立了10間教會，差派出63個海外宣教士，送出150萬本新約聖經，又送出110萬張福音單張。此外，他也為其它的聖經學校及幾百個宣教士奉獻。他有傳講耶穌基督純正的福音。（就像我們一樣）
*喬治．慕勒沒有「多種」錢給任何假先知、假教師、假牧師、或假教會。那時，「多種多收」的發財歪理還沒有被發明。
此外，喬治．慕勒從不向任何人或銀行借錢，也沒有向銀行貸款，也從不募款。他乃是藉著禱告、信心、和耐心支取神的恩典，直接跪在「施恩典的寶座前，為要得憐恤，蒙恩惠(恩典)，作隨時的幫助。」（希伯來書4章16節）。

喬治．慕勒(George Muller)說：「既然主願意供應基督徒的需要，我們就沒有理由走離開主的門，而走向人的門去借錢。」
喬治．慕勒坦承平生奉獻超過收入的90%，另外有至少5萬次(50,000)禱告蒙垂聽的見證。在過世前，他幾乎把名下所有的錢都奉獻出去，他是個奉獻全人的基督徒。

“Only bring your request, and you will perceive how able and willing He is to help you. If you do not immediately obtain answers to your prayers, do not be discouraged, but continue patiently, believingly, perseveringly to wait upon God.
只要我們能夠信靠神，心裡堅持相信神能夠幫助和願意幫助那些依靠主耶穌基督得救的人，和那些求神的榮耀和人得利益的事情。只要我們能夠信靠神，我們的心就會保持冷靜和平靜。只有當我們實際上放棄相信神的能力或祂的愛心時，我們才會失去平安並陷入困境。
“As long as we are able to trust in God, holding fast in our heart that He is able and willing to help those who rest on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and in all matters that are for His glory and their good, the heart remains calm and peaceful. It is only when we practically let go of faith in His power or His love that we lose our peace and become troubled.”
最重要的是，我們只求能榮耀神的事

“Then we should continue in prayer until the blessing is granted, without fixing a time when, or the circumstances under which, God should give the answer. Patience should be constantly exercised in connection with our prayer.
