There is no limit to what our limitless God will do in response to a limitless faith

“The trouble is that we do not have the power of God in a full manifestation because of our finite thoughts, but as we go on and let God have His way, there is no limit to what our limitless God will do in response to a limitless faith. But you will never get anywhere except you are in constant pursuit of all the power of God.” -Smith Wigglesworth

Did you get that?

“there is no limit to what our limitless God will do in response to a limitless faith."
“there is no limit to what our limitless God will do in response to a limitless faith.
“there is no limit to what our limitless God will do in response to a limitless faith.

That’s a powerful statement every Christian should remember!
That’s a powerful quote every Christian should remember!

What the secret to limitless faith? I believe, as the Spirit of God has taught me, is to crucify the flesh daily, so your spirit man rises up and grows in persistent desire for the presence, power, and glory of God that bring true revival.

This means that the more we crucify the flesh, the more we desire God, then the more we will pray.

The more we pray, the more answered prayers we get.

The more answered prayers, the more our faith in God grows!

The more we desire God, the more our faith grows!
the more we desire God, the more we will believe in God

The more we desire God and the deep things of God, the more our faith grows.

Faith in God cannot grow unless you first have deep desire for God and His will.

How can you have faith in God if you don’t really desire God in the first place?

“All spiritual giants that had strong faith were first men/women who first had “deep desire" for God and His power.  Men of strong desire eventually turns out to be men of strong faith, not the other way around.

Why do some men of God receive more power from God? Not because they were born with a stronger “faith", but because they first had a stronger desire than others.

And with that stronger desire, they then choose to spend more time on reading, meditating, and praying God’s word more than the average Christian.

And with that stronger desire, they chose to spend more time on seeking God’s face and power than the average Christian.

Deep desire produces faith, not the other way around!

Think of this.  Why was Peter the first one to have faith to walk on water? -because he was the first one to have deep desire for it. How can one have faith for something he doesn’t even desire?  So the key to strong faith in God is to first have deep desire FOR God!

And that’s where “crucifying the flesh" comes in.

Why is it so important for every Christian to crucify the flesh? because Christ commanded it! (Luke 9:23, Gal 5:24)

Why is it so important for every Christian to crucify the flesh? because without crucifying the flesh you will not have a deep desire for God!

Without crucifying the flesh, your flesh will always desire sin or something else other than God!

And remember, without crucifying the flesh you will never mortify the sinful and carnal desires of the flesh and have the right desires for God. "  -Johnson and Pearl

“Persistent faith comes from persistent desire.

If you truly desire God and want God bad enough, you will keep seeking God and persistently believe in God’s promises and powerdespite all temporary setbacks, obstacles, hardships. -Johnson and Pearl

“Faith is a continuous decision, a continuous believing, a continuous verb. Faith, like love and hope, is not just a noun but also a verb."  -Johnson and Pearl
