His faith was rewarded, for soon after Mueller’s funeral the last one was saved.”

“As long as the motive of your prayer is in accordance to God’ will, and glorifies God, then God will surely answer such prayer according to His methods and time. Prayers in accordance to God’s will transcends time and space, because God is a God that transcends time and space. Even if the person that prayed dies, God will still hear and execute such prayer, because God is a God that keeps His word, and He exalts His word above His name.” －Johnson and Pearl

Later, his mother, who had been away, returned home. When Hudson told her the good news, she said, “I already know.
