“Many carnal Christians today are attempting to use God like Simon in Acts 8.
Carnal Christians wear a cross but won’t bear a cross.
Carnal Christians gratify the flesh instead of crucify the flesh.
They want the “Holy” Spirit without holiness, blessing without obedience, healing without fasting, Pentecost without cost, revival without repentance, and power without prayer. Isn’t that true?
Carnal Christians might be the most self-deceiving group of people!
Many want miracles, but few want the Lord’s cross!
Luke 9:23 “And He (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
Isn’t it true that so many charismatic Christians today want miracles, healings, anointing, or gifts; but few wants to take up their cross daily and follow Jesus?
How about deny self (Luke 9:23), crucify the flesh daily, and give up things like sports, entertainment, TV, cable TV, the internet, and porn for Jesus?
