But since God desires His will be done on earth more than we do, God really doesn’t need to be convinced much.  So God must have other reasons to get us to pray.  When we continue to pray, we will discover that God’s intent was that, through prayer, God wants to mold a person that would cooperate with, trust, desire, and obey His will.  In addition, through prayer, God can see which person is the one that truly trusts, desires, and obeys for His will.”  －Johnson and Pearl
