詩篇 66:18-20
18 我若心裡注重罪孽，主必不聽。
19 但神實在聽見了，他側耳聽了我禱告的聲音。
20 神是應當稱頌的！他並沒有推卻我的禱告，也沒有叫他的慈愛離開我。
以賽亞書 58:6, 8-9 我所揀選的禁食… 這樣，你的光就必發現如早晨的光，你所得的醫治要速速發生，你的公義必在你前面行，耶和華的榮光(榮耀)必做你的後盾(賞賜)。那時你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：『我在這裡！』
如果你有禁食禱告，你可以這樣禱告：
–我有禁食禱告，我所得的醫治要速速發生，耶和華的榮耀必做我的賞賜。耶和華必應允!

帖撒羅尼迦前書 5:16-19 要常常喜樂，不住地禱告，凡事謝恩，因為這是神在基督耶穌裡向你們所定的旨意。不要消滅聖靈的感動，
提多書 3:5-6 聖靈就是神藉著耶穌基督 厚厚/慷慨澆灌在我們身上的!

太9:14-15 耶穌對他們說：「新郎和陪伴之人同在的時候，陪伴之人豈能哀慟呢？但日子將到，新郎要離開他們，那時候他們就要禁食。
馬太福音 6:17-18 你禁食的時候，要梳頭洗臉，不叫人看出你禁食來，只叫你暗中的父看見，你父在暗中察看，必然報答你。

19 門徒暗暗地到耶穌跟前說：「我們為什麼不能趕出那鬼呢？」
