詩篇 42:1-3 可拉後裔的訓誨詩，交於伶長。
1 神啊，我的心切慕你，如鹿切慕溪水。
2 我的心渴想神，就是永生神，我幾時得朝見神呢？
詩篇 63:1-3 大衛在猶大曠野的時候，作了這詩。
1 神啊，你是我的神，我要切切地尋求你！在乾旱疲乏無水之地，我渴想你，我的心切慕你。
2 我在聖所中曾如此瞻仰你，為要見你的能力和你的榮耀。
3 因你的慈愛比生命更好，我的嘴唇要頌讚你。
馬太福音 5:6 飢渴慕義的人有福了！因為他們必得飽足。
詩篇 84:2 我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇，我的心腸、我的肉體向永生神呼籲。
詩篇 143:6 我向你舉手，我的心渴想你，如乾旱之地盼雨一樣。（細拉）

創世記 32:24-26
24 只剩下雅各一人。有一個人來和他摔跤，直到黎明。
25 那人見自己勝不過他，就將他的大腿窩摸了一把，雅各的大腿窩正在摔跤的時候就扭了。
26 那人說：「天黎明了，容我去吧。」雅各說：「你不給我祝福，我就不容你去。」

9 我又告訴你們：你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。
路加福音 18:6-8
6 主說：「你們聽這不義之官所說的話。
7 神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們申冤嗎？
8 我告訴你們：要快快地給他們申冤了。然而，人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信心嗎？」

希伯來書 11:6 人非有信就不能得神的喜悅，因為到神面前來的人必須信有神，且信他賞賜那殷勤尋求他的人。
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
- 殷勤尋求神 = 你必須停止看電視，停止浪費時間在垃圾節目上，和停止犯罪！
- 神賞賜那殷勤尋求他的人。
約11:40 耶穌說：「我不是對你說過，你若信，就必看見神的榮耀嗎？」
